Sunday Aug 23 I got to assist in my first minor surgery. Dr. Dan was called to the hospital to check on a couple of patients and while there a lady arrived with a crochet hook jambed right through her hand. She was crocheting in the back of a vehicle on it's way from Livingstone to Zimba and the vehicle hit a bump and she jambed the crochet through her hand. Dr Dan called me and asked if I had anything to cut a hook off with. I had a pair of pliers that can cut a lot; so I went down and helped him get the hook out of the lady's hand. She was pretty sore but happy.
